A straightforward explanation of cookies and local storage used by ListingSail.

Secure session cookies keep you signed in, link a guest workspace to your browser and protect requested account actions. Account sessions have a 14-day expiry; inactive guest workspaces expire after 30 days. These functions are part of the service you request.
Disabling or clearing essential cookies in your browser can sign you out or remove browser access to a guest workspace. It does not immediately erase the server copy.
The web app can retain interface preferences in your browser. Privacy settings saves only its own essential-only preference in local storage when you choose Save. It does not clear authentication or workspace cookies.
The desktop companion has a separate private Windows workspace, protected credentials and browser sessions. These are not advertising cookies; see the privacy notice.
ListingSail currently adds no advertising or analytics trackers. There are no optional tracking categories to enable. We do not enable transactional-email open or click tracking. Infrastructure and payment providers still process the technical information required for their services.
